Medical Management of ADHD

Presenter: Jefferson Prince, MD

Dr. Prince is at the Harvard Medical School, a member of the Pediatric Psychopharmacology Clinic and Research Unit at the Massachusetts General Hospital and the Director of Child Psychiatry and Pediatric Pharmacology at North Shore Children's Hospital.

Here, Dr. Prince answers questions about the medication management of stimulant medication and how he chooses which one to use, what the indicators for use are and how long to keep trying a medication before switching to another medication.  He also addresses the co-existing conditions of bipolar disorder, anxiety and depression.  Non-stimulant medication management is also addressed.
